Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre

  • The Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre is the Government of the Northwest Territories’ museum and archives.
  • Showcasing northern art, culture and history.

Yellowknife Historical Museum

  • Showcasing Yellowknife’s Indigenous, sporting, cultural, geological, and mining history. Along with our exhibit hall, this Museum also has a gift shop that is stocked almost entirely by local artists and a Restaurant/Café area open for lunch and dinner.

Nature’s North Wildlife Gallery

  • Two world renowned taxidermist and artist brothers, Greg and Dean Robertson, have come together to create a northern wildlife experience like no other.  Prepare to get up close and personal and experience the North’s creatures like you never have before.

Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories

  • The parliament building of the NT.  Uniquely northern in its beauty and design.  Tours available.

Yellowknife Farmers’ Market (June – September)

  • An outdoor community marketplace showcasing locally baked, cooked, processed and harvested goods, live music, art, and locally made products.
  • Every Tuesday, June through September, 5:15 pm to 7 pm, in front of Yellowknife City Hall, at Somba’Ke/Civic Plaza
